I'm basically thinking I want to buy my phone from Apple instead of through Att. Once I get my phone I'll go to the store and since I'm eligible for an upgrade, I'll "upgrade" to my own phone I already own. Will this work? I have a 2 year plan and every 2 years I can upgrade and it's been 2.5 years so I am eligible.
