That "2x stronger" doesn't really wash, tho. A child of two kryptonians isn't twice as strong as their parents. Neither is a child of two viltrumites. They end up as strong. So, a child of a kryptonian and a viltrumite, would end up somewhere in-between as far as power scaling goes and as a base power level. It seems more that the harder they push themselves the stronger they get. It’s also probably based on battle experience. I think it's more like, they adapt like Saiyans do.
