I have large hands and hated the thin short reach trigger. My wife is 5' 3" and she even prefers the fat trigger, granted she has a VERY strong grip.

Now, for a 9mm range/fun gun - don't think you can beat a P226 X-Five Entry or similar. It's a higher price point, but these 'Enhanced' German made guns should hold value pretty well for ya - and will put a BIG grin on your face at the range too... The SIG M11-A1-D is one fine firearm and fits in nicely with my other SIGs, P239 and P226. I added a Crimson Trace Laser grip and had trigger work completed. The Don Hume was made for theP228/229 so the P227 won't fit with the squared trigger guard. The Bianchi was made for the P220/226 and both fit just fine with some room to spare on the muzzle end.It seems like the only place that may be a problem is the slide lock/release on the M11-A1.
